 VLJ Managed offers complete Eclipse aircraft order and pre-delivery services through Cumulus Consulting. Cumulus is headed by Don Taylor, former Eclipse Vice President of Flight Operations, Safety and Training. An early member of the Eclipse executive team, he set up and ran those departments for Eclipse for 7 years. During a 30+ year career with United Air Lines he was a flight instructor and check airman on the B-747-400. An active general aviation pilot, he also serves on the board of directors of the Experimental Aircraft Association.
Your Eclipse delivery will be handled by an experienced Eclipse pilot and professional aviator. Cumulus will guide you smoothly through your aircraft delivery process so all of your available options are exercised.
Should you feel the need to sharpen up your instrument skills prior to your type rating training, Cumulus is available to assist you. After you get your type rating, they are available to fly with you and help you learn more about your aircraft. An ABQ based company, they can assist you with arrangements for hangar, aircraft servicing or ferry flights as needed.
