Lora was born and raised in Southern California, where she received a BA in Communications from UCLA, a Master's in Tax from USC, and her license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant. After working as a corporate tax consultant at Deloitte for 14 years in Los Angeles, Denver, Calgary, and Southwestern Ontario, she decided to leave public practice and joined the OurPLANE team in 2003. She enjoys running, movies, and margaritas, and loves spending time with her husband, sons and dog.

Formerly the Chief Flight Instructor of the London Flying Club and a Transport Canada Flight Test Examiner, Mr. Huffman is a founder of OurPLANE in 1998. Mr. Huffman’s 20+ years in the aviation industry and experience operating a medium-size flight school allow him the experience to manage the growing OurPLANE fleet of aircraft and flight safety program. Mr. Huffman enjoys family, chocolate, movies, golf, music and spending time in the hot tub.

Shelley joins us with over 12 years of customer service experience. She has spent the last five years working for a London-based marketing support centre. Her focus as General Manager was to support all aspects of Customer Service and manage a varying client base. She enjoys learning and is currently working towards her bachelors degree in Sociology at the University of Western Ontario. Shelley's focus is on total customer satisfaction for all OurPLANE customers.

Heather was born and raised in London, Ontario and is a graduate of The University of Western Ontario. She is currently working towards her C.I.M. Professional Designation. Over the last seven years, she has held the position of Financial Controller for two mid-size organizations, most recently in the renewable energy sector, and therefore bring experience in several areas including accounting, finance and business development. In her spare time between work and school, she enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, as well as painting and spending time at the cottage in Northern Ontario.

Mr. Young has led global initiatives within aviation companies as Chief Executive Officer, with a focus on sales, marketing and business development moving markets from regional to national and globa. He’s worked within several Fortune 500 companies, and has served as VP of Global Sales & Marketing for startups in the last 18 years. With his domestic and international business experience, Mr. Young understands the aviation opportunities on the horizon, as it evolves into exciting advancements with the presence of VLJ’s. As an executive he’s quickly able to map solutions to challenges, modeling businesses to scale nationally and globally with his first priority being aviation Safety. This has provided him a broad perspective on building a great company through expansive sales growth. His passions include flying, snow skiing, and triathlons with his family. He graduated with honors from Texas Christian University, earning a BA in Business Administration and Marketing.

Dan Shikiar, Business Development |

Mr. Shikiar is a seasoned professional with proven B2B and B2C sales, marketing, and business development experience. Mr. Shikiar had started and sold Denver-based Eye-Opener Espresso, was a top regional salesperson for Auto-Chlor Colorado (a subsidiary of Unilever), and most recently held senior positions with Decisioneering and Palisade Corporation - two privately held software companies in the risk-analysis and business intelligence sector.
As Vice President of Corporate Sales for Denver-based Decisioneering, Mr. Shikiar closed some of the largest deals in company history, and was instrumental in Decisioneering’s three year rise on Deloitte & Touche’s “Fast 50” list of fastest-growing technology companies in Colorado; during Mr. Shikiar’s 3 1/2 year tenure, Decisioneering grew its revenues by 185% in 1998, 353% in 1999, and 443% in 2000. Decisioneering was acquired by Oracle in 2007.
As Vice President of Sales and Business Development for Palisade Corporation, Mr. Shikiar was credited with transforming the company from a small, catalog operation with one office in upstate New York to a market leader in the risk and decision analysis software space. Mr. Shikiar overhauled the company's sales and marketing strategies, replaced its pricing and licensing models with more customer-centric and profitable solutions, expanded the company’s global presence by opening regional offices in Denver, London and Sydney, launched a successful internal services division, established numerous strategic partnerships and industry alliances, closed the five largest sales in company history, and was considered by many to be the driving factor in Palisade doubling its revenues in just four years.
Mr. Shikiar graduated with honors from the University of California at San Diego with a B.A. in Communications in 1993.

Mr. Hagen brings over 15 years of senior level sales and marketing experience to OurPLANE. John's background was related to several areas within the financial services industry, including business development, sales management, and business analysis positions.
He has assisted clients with solutions that address significant issues from strategy through execution. Mr. Hagen has extensive high level B2B sales, marketing, and branding experience, and brings tangible results to our clients through collaboration, development and implementation of growth strategies, and improved operations. Mr. Hagen's primary areas of focus include Sales Strategy Creation and Execution, Business Strategy Integration, Customer Relationship Optimization, and Operational Agility.
Mr. Hagen's career includes senior level roles with Deluxe Corporation, eFunds, First Financial Inc., Morgan Stanley, and CreditWatch Services.
Mr. Hagen possesses a BA in Marketing from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Joel has been a licensed pilot since 1978 and been involved in Aviation Business Development since 2001. His focus has been the emerging Very Light Jet market, changes in aviation technology and fractional lease/ownership programs. Prior to working in Aviation, Joel was involved in Broadcast Graphics and the Video Gaming industries, working with outsourcing and as a Creative Director. Joel's passions include flying (a Cirrus), golf, music, motorcycles, wine and spending time with friends and family.
